Mission Statement

We believe in the innate dignity of all people. We recognize that God is present and active in every situation and person.

All who participate in the Meal–guests, sponsors, volunteers, and staff–are people with gifts and talents, needs and weaknesses.

We share a nutritious meal in a setting of hospitality and safety.

We commit ourselves to addressing not only the effects, but the root causes of hunger and poverty.

We collaborate with other individuals and groups to enhance our ministry.

We support an integrated spirituality that recognizes the relationship between faith, justice and service.
